This picture is quite magic. It lets me see colors without colors, it tells me the time of the day without time. You could guess the village, the empty streets, the silence… magic!

Winners and losers are hanging on the same wall.
We stare at them with admiration in this static andalusian morning.

What do we do??? Stay on the 5th or go down along Broadway???

I always wondered what kind of furniture are needed to live in the Flatiron.
Does a standard squared double bed fit?! and on which side do you want to sleep: 5th or Broadway?!

This was an astonishing architectural masterpiece. It was fantastic to think that the beauty of the Mezquita comes from the alternation us such different cultures like the christian and the muslim ones. “Intersection” means the convergence of lines, the transition of light into shadow, the fusion of marble with gold, the Mezquita.

I was again looking at this picture and thinking about that moment… It has been a moment of silence mainly. The lunar landscape, the absence of wind, the sunny afternoon… Everything seemed to be waiting for something, perfectly still.

I recently discovered that the Empire State Diner closed. That kind of shocked me! It was one of the most unexpected good experiences in New York city. It was early that day, when we entered in the restaurant, probably too early, but the jet lag was too strong for us to survive another hour without food and sleep… The sun was going down, people were outside drinking something and chatting. The last brownie was waiting for us.

The Brooklyn bridge is a marvelous piece of engineering. Stone, steel and wood are suspended together between the water and the sky. Walking along its arched back gives a fantastic feeling. Distances and prospective are certainly going to change! The bridge represents the transition between the vertical perceptions of Manhattan and the open views of the Brooklyn dock where one can sit and wait for the sunset…
